Come along with us on a magical journey filled with exploration, hands-on projects, nature & friendship.

a little about us…

We are a small Pod of covid-cautious homeschoolers in the city of Snohomish that have come together because we wanted to create a space for our children to have social interaction safely in a meaningful and engaging way. We run our pod 100% outdoors (but covered overhead if needed) and we wear masks. We’re looking to add some children to our little pod for the 2022-23 school year, ideally we are looking for 7-10 year olds, but we have a mix of ages from 3-9 years old.

our vision

To allow children the freedom to follow their curiosity and the time and space to play as they learn & grow among their trusted podlings in an emotionally supportive space. We are looking for a community of friendship that fills the social gap and engages children in activities that keep their minds busy and their hearts full. All homeschool curriculum will be done at home - but the art projects, social emotional learning, science experiments, yoga, hiking, dance, cooking, and laughter will be done here. Come join us…

schedule & location

Mondays: 12:00pm - 3:00pm (Snohomish backyard) Wednesdays: 9:30am - 12:00pm (Exploring the PNW) Fridays: 12:00pm - 3:00pm (Snohomish backyard)

We are looking to create a co-op of parents that can assist the lead parent on a rotating schedule.

On Mondays and Fridays we will be on 4 acres right outside the city of Snohomish in one of our families backyards. It has a covered area (3 open walls and a roof trailer port) that the children can have tables and chairs for projects but also plenty of space to play in the grassy fields among the chickens and onlooking horses. On Wednesdays we will have exploring days in the beautiful Pacific Northwest at beaches, along trails, at farms etc.

We will start September 7, 2022

about our lead parent

Jenna is a mom of three (7, 4 and 1 year) that has been around children all of her life. She has worked in schools and led summer programs in art for children. She is also a professional family lifestyle photographer with a background in fine arts. She created and managed a Pod in 2021 in another location. She just moved to the Pacific Northwest this summer with her family and cannot wait to create this special space along with likeminded dedicated parents in the homeschool community.

Curriculum will include hands-on, inquiry-led projects, nature education, arts & crafts, Big Life Journal (social/emotional) topics, and problem solving but the primary focus is friendship.

COVID safety

We require children to wear a high quality & well-fitting mask at all times while attending the pod (we’re happy to discuss what brands we like!) We also require everyone in your household that is eligible, to be vaccinated + boosted for COVID-19. We all take precautions in our personal lives to keep the pod safe.

For eating (either from cooking projects or having a snack break) the children will be spaced out while masks are down. We wash hands upon entering the pod space and also before & after eating.

the investment:

$250 per month/a child. The max # of children will be 9. This includes all materials.

***If cost is an issue, please just let us know on your application form, as our priority is finding the right fit (a covid-cautious family that desires community & friendship:)
